Tax Year 2008 Online Gifts

To make sure that your gift is received in time for a 2008 charitable tax deduction, please note the following:
· Because of our vendors processing time, all ONLINE donations for the 2008
tax
year must be made by midnight on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008.

· Credit card gifts through the mail must be received by
Clark and processed
before the close of business on December 31st,
2008.
· If mailing a check, your envelope must be postmarked on or by December 31st,
2008.
· Please call 1-888-CLRK-FND (257-5363) on December 31st to make your credit
card gift by phone.
Phones will be staffed until 3pm.
The Clark Fund phone lines will be staffed from 8:30am-5pm December 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th, and
until 3 p.m. on the 31st.

Fiscal Year 2009 Gifts
If you would like your gift to be counted in
Fiscal year 2009, please make your
gift no later than May 31, 2009.
Gifts to the Clark Fund may be directed to unrestricted funds,
scholarships, or "other." All gifts are tax deductible and may
be made by check or credit card by May 31, 2008 for this fiscal year. To
make a gift or for more information, contact the Clark Fund at

Commitments may be made as outright gifts or in the form of pledges. An
outright gift or pledge of $25,000 or more will entitle the donor to
specify an endowment or program fund.
A pledge is a written statement of an intention to make a gift or grant
to Clark, such as a gift to support the New Biological Sciences Building
signed by the donor or her/his authorized agent. Pledges may be paid up to
five years from the date of the pledge, and the written pledge statement
must specify a schedule of payments.
