Human Resources and Affirmative Action
The Human Resources/Affirmative Action Office is responsible for non-student employment processes, and University-wide issues of affirmative action, including harassment and discrimination.
It is the policy of Clark University that all our students, faculty and staff, should enjoy an environment free of discrimination and harassment, and shall have equal opportunity in the education, employment, and services of the University. This policy refers to, but is not limited to, harassment and/or discrimination in the following areas: age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, handicap and veteran status. Students, who have concerns regarding harassment or discrimination involving a faculty or staff member, are urged to bring this to the attention of the Director of HR/AA, who also serves as the University Affirmative Action Officer/Grievance Counselor. Students may elect to have issues involving student-to-student concerns addressed by members of the Dean of Students staff who will consult with the Director of HR/AA as appropriate.
Copies of policies and procedures on sexual harassment and discrimination may be obtained at the office or HR/AA. If you feel you have been harassed or discriminated against, seek assistance from the Director of HR/AA or a member of the Dean of Students Office.
