Archives and Special Collections

Archives and Special Collections

Clark University's Archives and Special Collections Department is the repository for approximately 7,000 linear feet of rare books, manuscripts, and other materials. Items from the collection can be consulted in the Archives and Special Collections area; none of the material circulates. Patrons must produce satisfactory identification before using any of the material. Researchers have included students, faculty and staff from Clark and visitors from around the world. The department also hosts most of the activities of the Friends of the Goddard Library.

The Archives and Special Collections area is located on the Ground Floor of the Robert H. Goddard Library. For those traveling to the campus, the library is located on Downing Street in Worcester and is easily found on the Clark University campus map.

The department is open Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. We are closed on weekends and many holidays. It is adviseable to call or email before traveling here.

Please read our Collection Policy and browse our website further for more information about our holdings.
